Very nice staff. Comfortable room but a little bit small. Good restaurant and breakfast with a lot of dishes (I really liked it).Greg

The building of Hotel Magyar Kiraly looks amazing with great historical and castle like features. Children would love it and perfect for weddings. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the city, close to the shops, museums, turkish bath, parks and swimming pool. The Hotel staff were friendly and very professional and our room were perfectly cleaned every day, they even changed our bed sheet daily. There is a Cardio Training Room and Wellness Centre on the third floor with couple of Jacuzzis and sauna and salt room and we had massage as well - we highly recommend those to everyone. We had a relaxing and fun week in Hungary, definitely will go back again and bring our family with us.
We had only one english channel on tv (SkyNews). It would be good to see there some english sports channel and maybe movies as well. Also there wasn't WIFI in our room only internet as part of TV service but it was sightly slow. If anyone needs to use WIFI then we recommend the local bars and cake shops. Everywhere we went we got free internet and the local cakes are amazing.

A great hotel, in a beautiful historic building, but arranged in a very modern fashion on the inside. Loved the building, the location (right in the center of a beautiful city), as well as the excellent staff, very helpful. We were there for the Dream Theater concert at the Fezen Festival and the receptionist even printed a map to the festival ground for us, and spoke excellent English (actually, all of them spoke English). Breakfast was very good, too.

Very good location in the central road of the inner city, only 20 minutes away from Velence lake, ideal for a couple of days of relaxation. Very nice room with Internet that you can ask in the reception.
If you want to have a good breakfast you should go down before 9 because sometimes it takes them time to put out new things. Also the Wellness spot isn't open all day but in the morning and after 6 pm. When we asked in the reception why, they told us because mainly it's a business hotel. And the lady that does the massages doesn't speak English so be patient when she tries to explain something.
